The mountains of the Okanagan Valley surround one of BC's
largest and deepest lakes - Lake Okanagan.

Okanagan Lake is 135 km long and spans 5 km in width.
It has an assumed depth of 232 meters and possibly goes much deeper under the glacial shelves.
