Vernon is located at the North tip of Lake Okanagan at Kin beach,
and also borders Kalamalka Lake.
Kalamalka Lake flows into Lake Okanagan.
You will find that Kalamalka Lake is more of a favorite for tourism in the North Okanagan
Kal Beach is a great place to spend the day swimming offering a great public beach front,
a long roped-off shallow end - waist deep water for a good hundred yards into the lake.
You'll find two swimming docks equipped with ladders, and restaurants on the beachfront.
Downtown Vernon offers the Heritage Murals, great , restaurants, gift shops,
theater, and unique shops to browse through.
Other Towns located in close vicinity are Armstrong, Lumby, Enderby, and Cherryville.
Take a scenic drive to each and you will find breath taking, gorgeous scenery throughout
the rolling valleys and lakes in the area.
