Vernon Heritage Murals
Vernon, British Columbia, Canada

Downtown Vernon boasts one of
the largest outdoor public art
galleries in Canada.

Twenty-seven amazing murals
(26 downtown and another located
at the Allan Brooks Nature Center),
some as large as 300 feet long
and 40 feet high, depict the
history, culture, and scenery
of Vernon, and British Columbia.

The artist who painted the" Office of Vernon News" mural was Steven Skolka

The two artists who were responsible
for the " Sovereign Lake" mural
were Steven Skolka and Tyler Toews

The lead artist for the remaining
25 murals was Michelle Loughery.
