Festival Event! Be at Prairie
Valley Station by 11:00 am to
walk the Trans-Canada Trail
to Faulder where the train will
pick you up and bring you back
for a BBQ lunch and glass
of Sumac Ridge Estate Wine.
(Be at station by noon for
round trip train ride)

Trick or Treat Train
October 31st 4:00pm
Put on your costume and get
on board the Trick or Treat
Train for a ghostly ride.
There'll be prizes for best
costume and goodie bags for
the kids to take home. Bring
a carved pumpkin for the
Great Pumpkin Contest.
Reservations are required.

Summerland Christmas Express
Celebrate the magic of Christmas
on a steam train. Journey through
the snow covered hills above
beautiful Prairie Valley - you’ll
be enchanted by the Christmas
lights on homes along the
rail line and on the 3716
locomotive. Coaches and Station
will also be decked with season
sparkle setting the stage for
your family to enjoy Santa,
Mrs. Claus, Summerland’s
Blossom Candidates and the
banjo pickin’ of Felix Possak.
Each child receives a Christmas goodie bag to take home.

during 1910 - 1915.

Ten miles of beautiful vistas: from
lush orchards and vineyards to a
spectacular view of lake and
land from the Trout Creek
Trestle Bridge 238 feet
above the canyon floor.

The sight and sound of our
restored 1912 Steam
Locomotive the "3716" will bring
the era alive as you ride on this
90 minute journey in a vintage
passenger coach or open
