Kalamalka Lake
British Columbia, Canada

One of the most fascinating
natural wonders of the Okanagan
would probably be Kalamalka Lake.

Kalamalka Lake is located on
the south shores of Vernon at
Kal Beach and spans to the
Town of Oyama, which is
18 kms south of Vernon.

Kalamalka lake is popular for
it’s ability to change colour,
ranging from a deep blue–green
in Winter, to a bright
turquoise colour in Summer.

The lake is a different colour
at any given time of day.

You can best view Kalamalka Lake
as you travel down the hwy 97
corridor from Vernon to Kelowna.

You can turn off on any one of
the service roads from the highway
to park and view the lake.
