One of the most fascinating natural wonders of the Okanagan would probably be Kalamalka Lake.

Kalamalka Lake is located on the south shores of Vernon at Kal Beach and spans to the
Town of Oyama, which is 18 kms south of Vernon.

Kalamalka lake is popular for it’s ability to change colour,
ranging from a deep blue–green in Winter, to a bright turquoise colour in Summer.

The lake is a different colour at any given time of day.

You can best view Kalamalka Lake as you travel down the hwy 97 corridor from Vernon to Kelowna.

You can turn off on any one of the service roads from the highway to park and view the lake.
