Cancellation/Refund Policies: More than 2 weeks prior to departure date: Full refund Less than 2 weeks prior to departure: 50% refund When a trip is cancelled by Apex due to insufficient bookings, adverse water levels or events beyond our control: Full refund When Apex cancels for any of the previously stated reasons it may be forced to cancel as late as the same day of trip departure. A Special Note on Children: Children seem to have more fun on our trips than anybody but as water levels change so does our minimum age. Prior to a trip with your kids please call us for current river conditions and age requirements.

Assumption of Risk:
Rafting is enjoyed by people of all ages with no previous experience. However, certain risks are involved in undertaking a river expedition due to the nature of the sport. Each participant must acknowledge this by reading and signing a liability release form prior to departure. We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to adverse water levels, insufficient bookings or events beyond our control.

Apex Raft Company-River Rafting

A fresh & exhilarating mountain river awaits! Since 1993 we have shown whitewater
rafting enthusiasts from around the world the spectacular beauty of the Revelstoke
area of British Columbia while drifting down the wild and scenic Illecillewaet River.

We travel over 22 km down the Illecillewaet River. It's not all whitewater, but there's plenty to
get you good and wet. The whitewater you'll encounter on this trip is an intermediate level of
class 2 to 3+. The tranquil stretches in between the rapids are famous for its huge
cedar and hemlock groves and its vast array of wild flowers.

At one point the Albert Peaks tower 8000 feet above the rafts at an altitude of
over 10,000 feet. That's a greater difference than the Grand Canyon over the Colorado River.



We meet all of our guests in the historical Regent Inn located at 112 First St. East,
in downtown Revelstoke. Here we will provide each guest with a wetsuit, wetsuit socks and a splash top for the raft trip.  We also have fleece tops and neoprene gloves available for cooler days.  For under the
wetsuit you should wear your swimwear or a light pair of shorts and a t-shirt.  Please try to
avoid wearing cotton, as once it gets wet it will keep you cold. 

Once we’re “suited up” we have a 20 minute bus ride to the raft launch site where we top off your equipment with helmets, lifejackets and paddles.  At the riverside you will be given an instructional/safety briefing to help prepare you for your adventure and then we’re ready to go rafting! 

We’ll be on the river somewhere between 2 and 2 1/2 hours, depending on current river flows.
A short drive take’s us back to the Regent Inn where we end our day.
